HexProg Chip Tuning Tool

The HexProg Chip Tuning Tool is engineered for high-performance chip tuning, ECU cloning, and various programming tasks, requiring both advanced hardware and software capabilities. Designed with meticulous attention to detail, HexProg integrates our extensive expertise to deliver a tool that is fast, reliable, and user-friendly.

Bench Chip Tuning/ECU Clonin

HexProg allows for reading and writing P-Flash, D-Flash, External Flash, and external EEPROM with automatic checksum correction. It offers two primary methods for accessing ECUs:
- Factory Mode: This mode lets you perform tasks without opening the ECU cover by simply connecting power and signal wires.
- Boot Mode: This requires opening the ECU to connect the boot wire on the ECU board, useful for unresponsive ECUs.

OBD Chip Tuning

Since early 2021, HexProg has supported OBD functions, including reading/writing the map area (with virtual read capability). It also includes essential features for some ECUs, such as VIN changing, coding backup/restore, and fault code reading/erasing.

Leveraging Microtronik's extensive experience in ECU flashing and coding, the HexProg is designed to be one of the safest and most effective OBD programming tools available.

Hexprog Chip Tuning via OBD

BMW ISN Reading:

Hexprog incorporates the advanced ISN management features from Autohex, enabling you to read long ISNs from any BMW ECU, including the latest Bosch MG1/MD1 models from 2005 to the present DME/DDE units.

BDM Read/Write:

Hexprog provides the capability to bypass immobilizer protections, such as CAS in BMW, EIZ/EIS in Mercedes-Benz, and BCM in Volkswagen and Porsche. Notably, Hexprog is the only tool that can read and write CAS4 without requiring de-soldering or modifying the board, and it offers similar functionality for most other immobilizer.

Built-in Editors:

Hexprog includes built-in editors for various Flash data, allowing you to:
- Edit CAS3+ VIN, ISN, and keys
- Edit CAS4 and CAS4+ VIN and ISN
- Modify mileage for BMW instrument clusters

BMW FRM Repair:

The Hexprog simplifies the repair of BMW FRM 3 modules, which are known for frequent data damage, by offering a one-click repair solution.

Additional Functions:

- Reset mileage on protected EEPROMs such as M35080, M35160, 080D0WQ, and 160D0WQ in seconds.
- Perform key resets for multiple brands, including Audi, BMW, MINI, Porsche, Toyota, Fiat, and more.
- Read and write a broad range of SOP8 EEPROMs.
- Operates alongside Autohex for key programming.
